ADAPTER
An adapter is available free of charge for the duration of your stay (on request at the reception or our concierge).
If
required, they can be purchased for CHF 45.00 per unit.

BABYSITTING
We can recommend experienced babysitters. Our concierge service can arrange for our youngest clients to be looked after (external service subject to availability and to be paid directly to the agency).

BANQUETS
The Schweizerhof Zermatt offers a creative environment for successful meetings and team building. Here, luxury is synonymous with simplicity, refinement goes hand in hand with relaxation. BATHROBE
During your stay, bathrobes are provided in your room. You can buy them at the spa reception to take them home.

BILLIARD ROOM
The billiard table is located on the ground floor, in our Fumoir lounge. For more information, please contact the concierge.

BREAKFAST
A rich buffet breakfast is served daily from 07:00 to 11:00 in winter and 06:45 to 10:30 in summer.

CIGARS
The Fumoir is a place of wellbeing and relaxation where cigar lovers can enjoy the best products in the world in a refined atmosphere.

CONCIERGE
Our concierge team is always ready to provide you with the best advice and tips and will do its utmost to fulfil your wishes.
Whether it’s hiking near the Matterhorn, skiing on the glacier, or mountain biking, nothing is too much trouble.

CURRENCY EXCHANGE
A currency exchange service is available 24 hours a day at the hotel reception. In addition, you can use the following banks in the immediate vicinity of the hotel during their opening hours: Raiffeisen Bank, UBS Bank or Banque Cantonale Valaisanne.

DOGS
Properly trained dogs are welcome in our hotel and restaurants. If there is a particular service you would like to provide for your fourlegged friend, please let us know. The cost of accommodating your fourlegged friend in our rooms is CHF 30 per night per dog. For reasons of hygiene, we accept a maximum of 2 dogs per room. Dogs have to be walked on the leash in all public areas. Housekeeping will not enter your room if the dog is left alone.

DRESSCODE
Your dress code contributes significantly to the atmosphere and reputation of our establishment.

Pyjamas, tank tops, tracksuits and bathing slippers do not meet our standard.

ELECTRICAL OUTLETS
The main voltage for electrical outlets is 220 volts. The bathroom socket for electric shavers operates on both 110 and 220 volts.

FIRE ALARM
Our hotel is equipped with a modern fire detection and evacuation system. In the event of a fire, please use the emergency exits and stairways indicated on the map in your room wardrobe. Follow the instructions in this document or on the door of your room and strictly adhere to the instructions of our staff.

FITNESS
Our fitness team can provide you with expert advice and support for your sporting activities. For your training, we provide you with weights as well as a selection of endurance and weight training equipment. The fitness room is open every day from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm. Adults and young people from 14 years of age are allowed access.

FLOWERS
Surprise your partner with a flower arrangement or have your room decorated in a very original way by our concierge.

GIFTVOUCHERS
Would you like to take a souvenir of the Schweizerhof Zermatt home with you?

We are happy to fulfil your every wish. Whether you want to have your laundry ironed, buy a vase or replace a lost button, you can always count on our teams.

Free WiFi access is available, simply log on to the Schweizerhof Guest network and accept the terms and conditions of use.

LAUNDRY AND IRONING SERVICE
Our housekeeper will take care of the normal cleaning and ironing of the laundry. Please use the laundry bag and list in one of your drawers. Information about the normal and express service can be found on the laundry lists.

LOST AND FOUND
We would be grateful if you could leave your lost property with the concierge. We keep the objects found by our teams
for a period of one year and return them to their owner on request. The hotel does not assume any responsibility for abandoned or not found objects.

LUGGAGE

ROOMS
Your room is available on the day of your arrival from 3 p.m. until 12 p.m. on the day of your departure. Please contact us if you have any further questions about your room.

ROOM CLEANING
Our room service is available from 11:00 to 21:00, 7 days a week. See our separate map or ask our staff for advice.

SAFE AND VALUABLES
Our hotel has equipped all rooms with a private safe. We recommend that you place your valuables in your room safe
or in a safe at the reception. The hotel accepts no responsibility for theft in the rooms or in public areas. In the event
of failure to deposit valuables, large sums of money or valuables, the hotel is liable only in the event of fault on the
part of the hotel or its employees, up to a maximum of CHF 1,000 (Art. 487/488 of the Swiss Code of Obligations).

SECURITY
Fire and smoke development

Every two years, the Schweizerhof Zermatt is inspected by the Valais Cantonal Building Insurance and the Swiss Safety
Institute to ensure that it meets the relevant standards.

Our establishment is equipped with an automatic fire detection system and an evacuation system. In the event of an
emergency, you will be informed of the procedure to follow via the telephone installed in your room. In addition, our
rooms and premises are equipped with fire detectors.

In the event of a fire, go to the emergency exits and staircases indicated on the map in your room (in the wardrobe
near the exit).

Strictly follow the instructions of our staff.

For your own safety, the entire complex and public areas are under video surveillance.

SHEETS
We change your sheets every 3 days. However, if you would like an extra change, please put the handle in the drawer of your bedside table on your pillow. For a daily change, please contact the Housekeeper or Reception by dialing “0”.

SMOKING
We would like to inform you that, for the sake of nonsmokers, smoking is not allowed in the rooms, public areas and
restaurants. If you wish to smoke on your room balcony, room service will gladly provide you with an ashtray. You
are free to smoke your cigarettes in the Fumoir and on the restaurant terraces. We will charge guests smoking in their
room a cleaning fee of CHF 300.

SWIMMING POOL AND SAUNAS
Enjoy a 12metrelong indoor swimming pool, two jacuzzies, a mixed steam bath and a relaxation room.
Our mixed
sauna area offers you a steam bath, a bio sauna, a relaxation area (6 to 7 pm) and a mixed Finnish sauna. Please note that this is a naked area.

TELEVISION
You have access to a range of international TV and radio stations through our facility. You can also connect your Netflix or YouTube account via Chromecast on your mobile phone to the TV.

UMBRELLA
During your stay, umbrellas are available at the reception.

WATER
The tap water is drinkable. However, we provide a bottle of water free of charge every
day.
